Spencer Drees is a creative producer in film and television, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He discovered his passion for storytelling at an early age, which has grown into a decade-long career in the industry. He has contributed to projects for major studios including Disney, Paramount, 20th Century Studios, Hulu, and Netflix.

Currently, Spencer works at Universal Pictures under the Universal Monsters franchise, where he is part of a small, talented team alongside SVP Holly Goline and legendary concept and creature designer, Crash McCreery.

Outside of his full-time role at Universal, Spencer actively collaborates with fellow creatives, working across producing, editing, and photography. He most recently served as Supervising Producer on The Evaluation, a $2 million dollar, unscripted sports series premiering in February 2026. Under his independent company, Prehistoric Pictures Ltd., Spencer has produced five award-winning short films with budgets ranging from $25k to $80k, and in 2024 he produced his first internationally shot short film, There’s Something I Have to Tell You. Spencer is based in Los Angeles and frequently travels nationwide in pursuit of his next independent project.
